It is a boon for diabetic patients as it contains an essential mineral chromium which is linked to insulin response and accelerate carbohydrate metabolism.
Flaxseeds are packed with healthy nutrients. Even a small spoon of flaxseed if taken everyday provides protein, fibre and Omega 3 fatty acids. Flaxseeds are good source of insoluble fibre which slow down the release of sugar in the blood and improves bowel movements and lowers cholesterol and weight also.
