Ingredients · for 4

The mise en place.

  • 4-5 fresh amla (or 2 tbsp amla juice concentrate)
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • A pinch of black salt
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • Cold water as needed
  • A few mint leaves for garnish
Method

Step, by step.

    Wash amla, deseed, and chop roughly.

    Blend with ginger and a little water until smooth.

  3. 3

    Strain through a fine sieve into a glass.

  4. 4

    Add honey, black salt, and lemon juice. Whisk to combine.

  5. 5

    Top with cold water as desired.

  6. 6

    Garnish with mint leaves and serve immediately.
